First time on this computer? Install the serial COM port driver
Download the driver, right-click the ZIP → Extract All, then run INSTALL_DRIVER from the extracted folder. Without it, your computer can't see the device.

Connect your device
Make sure the orange box is turned off, then plug the ESP32 board into this computer with a micro-USB cable.

Click Flash Device
A window will pop up — select the serial port of your board and click Connect.

Wait for it to finish
The update takes about a minute.

Device doesn't show up?
Install the serial COM port driver first
This is the fix in almost every case — extract the ZIP, run INSTALL_DRIVER, then replug the board.
Download driver
- Make sure your micro-USB cable supports data — many cables are charge-only. Try a different cable if in doubt.
- Close any program that may be using the serial port (a serial monitor, configurator software…).
- Still stuck? Try a different USB port on your computer.
